| UBC Professor Gave a Lecture at IMCAS |

| Professor Decheng Yang from the University of British Columbia visited the Institute of Microbiology on July 2, 2008 and gave a lecture at the institute’s auditorium. The lecture, titled “Nucleic acid-based antiviral drug development: Target, identification and specific delivery”, was presided over by Professor Lixin Zhang, who invited Professor Yang to IMCAS campus.
Professor Yang had published over 63 papers on international journals, such as PNAS and so on. He had made prominent contributions in the field of molecular biology of virus and anti-viral infections.
After his presentation, Professor Yang conducted in-depth exchange with Professor Keqian Yang and other researchers and graduate students and put forward many constructive comments and suggestions on future cooperations.
