The biosafety laboratory is under construction in the Institute of Microbiology. It had already passed the environmental evaluation by the State Environmental Protection Agency. The total area of the laboratory will be 450 M2. Upon finishing construction by the end of 2008, it can be used for research on HIV and avian influenza.
