Research interests

Our lab works on the metabolic engineering and synthetic biological research in Streptomyces species and other model micro-organisms, and aims to construct intelligent and synthetic cell factories for high value-added products:
1. Developing approaches to identify the regulatory network and to mine the useful genetic elements or parts for synthetic biological application;
2. Exploiting engineering strategies for titer improvement of desired products;
3. Developing high-throughput methods for strain screening in evolutionary engineering.
