Dr. FENG introduced her newly research achievements in mechanism of bacterial resistance, including acquired resistance and inherent resistance. Dr. HU mainly introduced their project on evolution of mobile devices carrying resistance genes, distribution and abundance of drug resistant genes in human body and transfer of resistance genes between human, animal and environment.

Dr. LI briefed the current situation and monitoring platform of bacterial drug resistance in China. She also emphasized that bacterial resistance has become a global problem, which closely related to human activities.

Prof. Patrick Plesiat introduced surveillance of drug resistance and transmission of clinical pathogens in France.
