On September 28, 2010, over 20 international graduate students attending The 2010 International Student Research Forum (ISRF) visited Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMCAS).

During their stay in IMCAS, they visited State Key Laboratory of Microbial Resources and Department of Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology and had the chance to talk with the professors. The annual forum—which was in Queensland, Australia last year—allows students to share their research and culture with peers from around the world. It is also a platform for IMCAS to showcase its research achievement in microbiology and promote its reputation worldwide.
