SHI Yi, Professor at the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Science has been awarded as one of MIT Technology Review’s “Innovators Under 35 in China” for 2020. The list was released at a summit held by MIT Technology Review in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province on Dec. 11 and 12, 2020. The selected Chinese innovators have been undergone a one-year strict review conducted by over 50 global top-level science and technology leaders.
MIT Technology Review began to release the list of “Innovators Under 35 in China” in 2017. It focused on the young researchers in China’s emerging scientific and technological fields, and on seeking young talents for their innovation power in the frontier research areas, so as to popularize more scientists, researchers and entrepreneurs to the public.
