LIU Weiping, vice-president of Chinese Academy of Sciences visited the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMCAS) on September 4.
He went to the State Key Laboratory of Microbial Resources, State Key Laboratory of Mycology, the big data center, Biosafely level-3 laboratory and other research platforms. He also listened to the overall review of the institute, the report on the key work of the scientific research, and exchanged ideas on the scientific research and the management the institute.
In the discussion, LIU hoped IMCAS to continuously have good achievements in the next “five-year plan” and endeavor to improve the service capacity and level of the two national key laboratories. “Scientific and technological innovation is crucial”, he added.
