State Key Laboratory of Microbial Resources Holds Scholarship Award Meeting----INSTITUTE OF MICROBOLOGY CHINESE ACADEMY OF SCIENCES

Scholarship Award Meeting of State Key Laboratory of Microbial Resources was held in Beijing on June 22 to 23.

SHAO Feng, academician from the National Institute of Biological Sciences, Beijing delivered a speech of Pyroptosis: from innate immunity to cancer. He shared his story of "choosing to conduct scientific research and choices in scientific research" and encouraged postgraduates and young researchers to be curious and persistent in science.

64 reports and 12 posters of the postgraduates were displayed in this meeting. The reports showed their working achievements of the last year. The award committee reviewed and commented on the report of each postgraduate, and gave overall appraisal from innovation, feasibility of experimental design, annual work progress. They determined the awards of annual postgraduate reports and posters.
