Abstract: Getting published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal can be challenging at times. In my presentation, I will explain the peer review and editorial processes with particular reference to the European Journal of Immunology. I will also discuss the best way to write a scientific paper, considering aspects such as how referees assess a manuscript and how to make their lives easier. As we live in a digital age, it is also important that people find your article amongst the thousands of others that are published each month and I will discuss how this can be achieved, as well as touching on other topics such as ethical considerations and the changing face of publishing.
