IMCAS Hosts Activities of “Overseas Talents Approaching CAS”

Five overseas young scholars including Dr. HAN Dongfei from Germany Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology, Dr. ZHU Baoli from Germany Munich Helmholtz Research Center, Dr. WANG Yan from University of California Riverside UCR, Dr. XIANG Tingting from Stanford University and YE Hui (PhD candidate) from University of Canterbury in New Zealand visited the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMCAS) on August 30, 2017.

They were invited to join the program of “Overseas Talents Approaching CAS” held by Bureau of Personnel, CAS. More than 130 staff attended the activity. LIU Shuangjiang, director-general of IMCAS extended a warm welcome to the overseas scholars and invited them to join in the institute.

After the meeting, those overseas young scholars gave wonderful academic reports at laboratories according to their research fields and communicated with researchers.

The activity built a bridge for communicating with excellent overseas talents and further established a good platform for recruiting talents.
