State Key Laboratory of Plant Genomics was jointly established by Institute of Microbiology and Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, CAS. The work in Dr. Jin-Long QIU’s group focuses on signal perception and transduciton in plant pathogen defense. Now an assistant professor position is available in Dr. Qiu’s group to study plant nonhost resistance and/or protein phosphorylation network in response to pathogen challenges.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry or related area;

Skills with protein chemistry, proteonomics or map-based cloning are desired;

Self-motivated, spirit of team work;

Excellent publications on peer-reviewed journals;

Good writing and communication skills in English.
