Mycology: An International Journal on Fungal Biology (ISSN 2150-1203, e-ISSN 2150-1211, CN 10-1918/Q) is an open access journal that publishes research in all fields of mycology, fungi, and fungus-like organisms and lichens. The aim of Mycology is to provide a platform to meet the needs of a demanding and growing field, and to serve and engage dialogue between Chinese mycologists and the international community.

Mycology was launched in 2010 by the Institute of Microbiology, CAS & the Mycological Society of China, and published by Taylor and Francis. Mycology has been strongly supported by mycologists at home and abroad since its inception. It has been indexed in ESCI, CABI, CSA, PubMed, Scopus, DOAJ, Biosis Preview, etc. The updated impact factor is 4.4 and the CiteScore is 8.8.
