IMCAS Women Scientist Honored with Achievement Award

A commendation meeting was held by the Chinese Academy of Sciences to recognize women scientists who had made considerable contribution to the advancement of science and technology in Beijing in March 7, the eve of the International Women's Day. Zheng Ruyong, a professor of the Institute of Microbiology and a CAS academician, won one of the outstanding individual awards. Professor Zheng had devoted to the systematic studies on the mucorales for more than 2 decades and had significantly influenced the development the field of systematic mycology in China.
