Postdoctoral Position at State Key Laboratory of Microbial Resources

Prof. DONG Zhiyang’s group at State Key Laboratory of Microbial Resources in Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMCAS) is mainly interested in some industrial enzyme from various microorganisms. Molecular technology has been used to get some enzyme gene from metagenomic liberary of extreme environment. Some importment enzyme gene has been found and been over-expressed for industrial application.

IMCAS was founded on December 3, 1958. It is a national comprehensive research institution that performs a wide spectrum of basic and applied research in the field of microbiology.

Position available: postdoc (1-2)

Research areas: Molecular enzymology and regulation of microbial metabolism

Qualification:

1) Ph.D holders or candidates in microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology or related fields;

2) published papers in international journals;

3) capable of conducting research independently;

4) good writing and communication skills;

5) a team player.
