Postdoctoral Position at State Key Laboratory of Microbial Resources

Prof. XIANG Hua’s group at State Key Laboratory of Microbial Resources in Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMCAS) is mainly interested in genetics, metabolism and functional genomics of extremely halophilic archaea.

IMCAS was founded on December 3, 1958. It is a national comprehensive research institution that performs a wide spectrum of basic and applied research in the field of microbiology (http://english.im.cas.cn/ ).

Position available: postdoc (2-3)

Research areas: microbial resources; microbial genetics and metabolism; microbial genomics and bioinformatics

Qualification:

1) Ph.D holder or candidate in microbiology, genetics and molecular biology, bio informatics, microbial fermentation or related fields;

2) published papers in international peer-reviewed journals;

3) capable of conducting research independently;

4) good writing and communication skills;

5) a team player.
