Postdoctoral Position at State Key Laboratory of Microbial Resources

Prof. MA Luyan’s group at State Key Laboratory of Microbial Resources in Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMCAS) is mainly interested in the molecular mechanisms for biofilm formation and persistence. The extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) function as a matrix holding microbial cells in a biofilm and provide protection for the matrix enmeshed microorganisms, which play a critical role in biofilm formation and persistence. Their current research is mainly focused on the EPS matrix.

Position available: postdoctoral fellow (1-2)

Research area: conduct research on molecular mechanism of programmed cell death /or mode and regulation of chronic infectious of Biofilm

Qualification:

1) Ph.D in microbiology or molecular biology and published research papers in peer-reviewed journals;

2) Capable of conducting research independently;

3) Good writing and communication skills;

4) A team player.
