Associate Professor Position at State Key Laboratory of Microbial Resources

Prof. MA Yanhe’s Extremophiles Research Group at State Key Laboratory of Microbial Resources in Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences focuses on the finding, understanding and application of extremophiles. It involves in three aspects: ecology and biodiversity of extremophiles, physiological mechanisms of extremophiles adaptation to extreme enveronments, exploitation and application of novel extremophiles.

Position available: Associate professors (2)

Research areas:

1)　　  Physiological mechanisms of extremophiles adaptation to extreme environment

2)　　  Biotransformation of extremophiles

Qualification:

1) Ph. D in microbiology, biochemistry or bioengineering;

2) Over four years’ experience in research after obtaining Ph. D;

3) Working experience abroad is a plus;

4) Capable of supervise postdoctoral and graduate students to conduct scientific research;

5) Published at least 4 papers in relevant areas in peer-reviewed journals;

6) Innovative, enthusiastic in scientific research and highly responsible
