Institutional Center for Shared Technologies and Facilities (ICSTF) was established in 2009 and was one of the first ICSTFs supported by choosing excellence of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). The ICSTF has 96 large-scale instruments, and with a toal value of 148 million RMB. All the instruments are shared on the instrument management platform of CAS (http://samp.cas.cn/) and MOST (http://nrii.org.cn/). The ICSTF has 28 staffs, of which 4 are professors, 19 are associate professors, and the others are in middle and primary technical job titles. The ICSTF has 5 professional technology laboratories including Laboratory for Mass Spectrometry & Functional Omics(LMSFO), Biomolecular Analysis Laboratory for Structure and Function (BALSF), and Morphometric and Measuring Cytology Laboratory (MMCL), Chemical Biology Lab, Microbiomics Lab. In addition, ICSTF has two professional facilities laboratories including Laboratory of Isotope Tracer Technology(LITT) and Medium Sterilization and Waste TreatmentLaboratory (MWTL).The ICSTF was awarded excellent in the large-scale instrument sharing led by Ministry of Science and Technology for the four times in the past five years.
