Research areas or research fields include, but not limited to: Pathogenic Microbiology, Virology, Microbiology, Genetics, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Microbial Cell Biology, Microbial-plant Interaction, Immunology, Genome Editing, Microbiomics and Bioinformatics, Synthetic Biology and Microbial Technology, Microbial Systems and Evolutionary Biology, Microbial Ecology, Fungal Biology, Microbial Pharmacy, Crop-borne Diseases, Protein Engineering Technology, etc.
Applicants should demonstrate a high theoretical background and academic level in the above mentioned fields, have made research achievements with high visibility, and have the ability to lead excellent teams to apply for important scientific research projects and organize innovative research. Applicants must have a doctorate degree and generally should have post-doctoral research experience.
The Institute of Microbiology, and its related laboratories will provide the successful candidates an internationally competitive scientific research environment, platform, start-up funding, salary and benefits, etc., and be responsible for recruiting and establishing research teams to assist the candidates in applying for national or CAS talent programs.
